We wanted to develop a product that saves lives as well as protecting our planet. So we set about developing the most sustainable and efficient method of clearing the air from even ultra-fine particles. We have succeeded in doing this with the OneLife X, the most sustainable high performance air purifier. With an average power consumption of just six watts, which is less than a standard LED light, the OneLife X stands out with a particularly low energy profile. While conventional air purifiers cannot be recycled and end up in landfill, the OneLife X has a filter that lasts a lifetime, so you never have to throw it away and buy a new one. To make the OneLife X even more environmentally friendly, it is made only of sustainable materials, such as fast growing renewable bamboo and recycled plastic.

The OneLife X is a high performance air purifier with innovative electrostatic filter technology capable of filtering up to 10 nanometres (0.000001 mm), which is better than most HEPA filters. It does not use a glass fibre filter, which cannot be recycled. The really unique feature of the OneLife X is that the filter never needs to be replaced. Simply wash the filter unit, dry it and put it back inside the air purifier. With the OneLife X, you save money on costly filter replacement AND help the environment by not producing any landfill waste. This air purifier emits NO harmful ozone. With average power consumption of just 6 watts, the OneLife X is among the most efficient air purifiers on the market.

The OneLife X weighs just 4.2 kg – much less than a conventional chair – which means that you can easily move the air purifier from room to room. The kitchen and living room mostly have poorer air quality than other areas, due to cooking and frying food. The air quality in our offices is also worse than ever now. Thanks to its convenient size, you can even place it directly next to the bed. It is so quiet that it will not disturb your sleep. Alternatively, you can place your OneLife X in the room where you train and keep fit, in order to enhance your performance.

Particles of different types are drawn into the appliance through the fan, and then pass through a electrostatic field, which is similar to an ionisation field. Ions are generated in the near field of a special ionisation electrode, and these then migrate to a counter electrode. As they do so, they electrically charge and thereby magnetise toxic substances, bacteria, viruses, microbes, dust mites and dust particles, which are then deposited permanently on the counter electrodes. This method allows large quantities of pollutants to be removed without a rapid loss of filter performance. The plates in the filter work like huge magnets or tractor beams for pollutants in the air. By eliminating the need to pass through a filter membrane, the OneLife X achieves high purification performance with virtually silent operation. (You can have it running right next to your bed – try that with a HEPA filter). This technology also saves a lot of energy and money in the long run.

No. The OneLife X does not generate any harmful ozone as a by-product. OneLife based its idea on the electronic filtering systems used in commercial applications and developed this in a revolutionary way, so that now home users too can finally benefit from its many advantages. Ions generated in a electrostatic field electrically charge the dust particles and then deposit them in a collector unit. We are able to filter out almost all particles (including fine particulates) without generating any harmful ozone.

HEPA filters were developed in the 1940s. The basic technology has not advanced since that time. The filters used generally consist of a plastic or glass fibre mesh and need to be replaced periodically, which leads to waste. Standard HEPA filters can remove up to 99.97 % of the particles from the air. The electrostatic filter of the OneLife X, by contrast, captures 99.99 % of the particles without ever having to be replaced. A HEPA-based air purifier cannot reliably and permanently remove VOCs, viruses and small particles of less than 0.1 microns from the air. The finer the filter fabric, the more energy is needed to force the air through it, which makes the appliance even louder. Air purifiers with electrostatic filters, on the other hand, can remove even the tiniest particles, which other types of filter can’t. Rather than using a mesh, electrostatic purifiers generate ions that apply an electric charge to the pollutants in the air passing through the purifier and change their molecular structure so that they can be deposited and neutralised in the collector, which works like a strong magnet. Pollutants measuring as little as 10 nanometres (0.000001 mm) can be removed from the air by this method, which shows how the innovative technology of the OneLife X is more than just a filter system.

In PECO filters a filter membrane coated with nanoparticles is exposed to UVA ultraviolet light. This triggers a photoelectrochemical reaction on the surface of the filter, which breaks apart the molecular structure of the organic particles in the air. Like a HEPA filter, a PECO filter needs to be changed regularly. In the OneLife X, on the other hand, a electrostatic field is formed in the near field of a special ionisation electrode. Ions are generated here, which then migrate to the counter electrodes. As they do so, they induce an electric charge in toxic substances, bacteria, viruses, microbes, dust mites and dust particles, which are then permanently deposited on the counter electrodes and become inactive. This process removes 99.99 % of all harmful particles from the air and neutralises them, without the need to change filters. All that is required is to rinse the filter collector or wash it in a dishwasher at up to 85 °C.

Thanks to the revolutionary filter technology, the integral plasma field forms cations, which electrically charge even the smallest nanoparticles and deposit them in the collector. This means that the patented OneLife plasma technology can filter pollutants down to 0.01 micrometres.

Yes! Scientists have discovered that air pollution can impair physical performance. One of the reasons for this is that athletes generally breathe in 20 times more air than usual during training, which means that they also absorb 20 times more pollutants into their bodies. Research has also shown that clean air is associated with increased productivity. It has been discovered that employees in environments with clean air perform 61 % better at cognitive tasks than employees in normal office conditions. Clean air is also very important for restful sleep and better relaxation, which is beneficial for health, productivity and performance during the day. Another study revealed that people who live in environments with a high level of air pollution are 60 % more likely to sleep poorly than people who live in areas with cleaner air. Restful sleep is particularly beneficial for allergy sufferers, as they are not protected at night against unpleasant symptoms caused by allergens such as house dust, animal hairs and pollen. An air purifier therefore increases productivity, performance and rest.

During forest fires, which are becoming ever more intense and long lasting, many people are exposed to high levels of hazardous pollutants, some of which are invisible and can easily find their way into our homes. The OneLife X, which can filter particles down to 0.01 micrometres, makes light work of the particles in the smoke from forest fires, which are 0.4 - 0.7 microns in size. Although people who live farther away from forest fire areas may actually feel safer, they should not underestimate the effects of pollution from forest fires on their health. Depending on the wind and location, tiny particles can spread over hundreds of kilometres and have both short and long term effects on health. As humans are not always able to perceive these particles themselves, the precision sensor technology of the OneLife X does this for you by monitoring the concentration of air pollutants. If they reach a dangerous level, the air purifier starts up automatically and gives you a warning. 

The OneLife X reduces hazardous pollution from allergenic particles. By filtering out house dust, mould, animal hair and seasonal pollen, it helps to alleviate typical allergy symptoms such as sneezing, blocked nose and streaming eyes. It therefore reduces the level of pollutants and protects sufferers of asthma and allergies. 

Yes, the OneLife X can filter out all these troublesome allergens, including pollen from trees, grasses and weeds as well as fine animal hair to protect sufferers of asthma and allergies.

Tree pollen occurs mainly between March and May. The most likely trees to cause allergy symptoms include oak, birch, beech and ash. The pollen grains are 16 - 37 µm in size. Thanks to the filter technology of the OneLife X, even the tiniest particles can be removed from the air, preventing tree pollen from being dispersed inside your home.

Grass pollen is the main cause of runny noses and other hay fever symptoms. Mainly the pollen of Kentucky bluegrass, Bermuda grass, redtop grass, orchard grass and timothy affects people from May to July. To protect against allergy symptoms – at least in the home – during this difficult season, the OneLife X with its innovative filter technology effortlessly filters the small pollen grains out of the air. 

Pollen from weeds mostly occurs between July and September and causes hay fever in many cases. The OneLife X air purifier can help you keep the air free of pollen to protect yourself against these troublesome particles at home.

An activated carbon filter, which can also filter out odours given off by new furniture and textiles, is additionally available for the OneLife X. 

As the OneLife X supplies clinically pure air, it protects your baby from all types of harmful airborne pollutants. It is particularly important for babies to grow up in a pure and clean environment, as their organs are not fully developed during the early stages of growth and their immune systems are still very fragile. The OneLife X can therefore help with early and long term prevention of asthma attacks.

The OneLife X air purifier traps 99.99 % of the harmful particles in the air, ensuring clinically pure air.

Smoking at home is harmful for your own health and should definitely be avoided. However, as cigarette smoke lingers persistently in closed rooms and is therefore also hazardous for passive smokers, air purifiers are a good way to permanently remove harmful cigarette smoke from the room. Air purifiers also reduce the unpleasant smell of cigarettes.

Although the OneLife X does not filter out dust particles that are already on the floor or in cupboards, it nonetheless prevents large dust particles from forming by filtering out the smaller ones from the air early on, before they land on the various surfaces.

If you find mould growing in your home, you should take action. However, this problem is not easy to control, because mould spreads via mould spores in the air. These invisible particles are hazardous to human health, as they can be inhaled and penetrate deep into the respiratory tract. Air purifiers are a suitable method of minimising both the spread of mould and its risk to health.

House dust mites can rapidly become a cause of allergy symptoms. They subsist mainly on dead skin, which is mostly found in beds. The majority of the allergens are contained in the mites’ faeces. When this dries, it disintegrates into small particles that mix with house dust. The OneLife X can keep the dust in your home to a minimum, leading to fewer allergic reactions.

How long the filter lasts depends on how well you look after it. If you wash it regularly and clean it carefully, it can last a lifetime without ever needing to be changed. This saves not only additional waste, but also ongoing costs for our customers.

The collector can be completely cleaned simply by rinsing it under running water or putting it in the dishwasher (at up to 85 °C). After drying the filter unit for 24 h in the air, it can be used again in the OneLife X.

The required frequency of cleaning depends on the amount of pollution in the environment. Our intelligent control system will let you know when it’s time for cleaning via the red LED of the filter change indicator.

No, the particles and viruses stick to the filter and are neutralised. These solids can then simply be washed away without returning to the ambient air. You should nonetheless handle the filter unit carefully when you take it out and wash it.

The OneLife X runs at 11 decibels on its lowest setting. This is the same noise level as your breath. It reaches just 39 dB(A) at maximum cleaning power on its highest setting, which is no louder than the humming of your fridge. As the OneLife X works with a plasma field to filter the air, it does not require a large, loud fan to force the air through a mesh filter. Instead, it uses a high tech fan that runs ultra-quietly and consumes a lot less energy than other air purifiers.

The OneLife X consumes just 5 - 6 watts per hour on average. If the air purifier runs for 24 hours per day, its consumption is around 144 watts (0.14 kilowatts). It therefore costs less than €17 per year to run. Comparable HEPA air purifiers consume at least twice this amount.

Yes, you can integrate the OneLife X very easily into your smart home (Alexa & Google) using the specially developed OneLife app, which provides information on the current filter status of the appliance and real time data about air quality, humidity and temperature inside and outside the house.

Thanks to its precise laser sensors, the OneLife X can detect automatically when it is time to clean the air. This makes manual control almost superfluous. But if you want to control the air purifier manually anyway, you can do that via the display or remotely using the OneLife app. In the app, you can set the operating mode of your OneLife X and monitor the status of the air quality in your home and environment. In future, you will also be able to set your own routines and air purification schedules using the app.

With its built-in sensor, the OneLife X measures and monitors the air quality in your home 24/7. You can monitor the air quality from anywhere at any time with the OneLife app and you’ll know precisely when you can breathe clean air again.

The OneLife X app shows the air quality indoors AND outdoors. The air pollution map uses data from BreezoMeter and shows the air quality values all over the world, based on the global air quality index.

Our OneLife X can supply clinically pure air for room sizes up to 30 m² (323 ft²). The unit can be tilted, so that you can access clean air exactly where you want it.
